IEEE Student Competition - Communications Technology
Dear students,
We're proud to announce the 2016 "Communications Technology Changing the World" student competition, and invite you and your school to participate.
Show us how you can change the world by improving people's lives and making a positive impact on humanity. Demonstrate a unique solution to a real-world problem by using engineering, technology, science, computing, and leadership skills to benefit your community or the world.
To qualify for the competition, you must be a Student Member or Graduate Student Member of the IEEE Communications Society. Non-Student Members can participate as "Advisors." Or form a team with either Student Members or Non-Student Members that is led by a Student Member. In this competition, students play the main role in developing the project, while higher grade senior members, if included on a team, are considered mentors or advisors. The age requirement is 18+ years.
Prizes:
1st: USD $2000 + plaque
2nd: USD $1000 + plaque
