Abstract: In this diploma thesis we have developed a prototype system for measurment of temperature and wireless data transfer by infra-red connection to the base unit. The system is divided into a base unit and numerous measuring units. The base unit, which is built around microcontroller PIC16F887 controls transfers from measuring units and allows display of data transfer on a graphic display. Measuring unit is implemented in the microcontroller PIC16F88 and its function is to automatically detect connected sensors Dallas DS18x20 and to transfer data on the request of the base unit. The system automatically detects number of active measuring units and obtains telemetric data from the connected sensors. |
